(4) Payment proof of the refundable deposit (Payment Instruction )

IMPORTANT NOTES

Students would need to bear all the expenses incurred (e.g. air tickets, visa and accommodation) in case there is/are any unforeseeable factor(s) leading to the cancellation or curtailment or delay of the internship, including but not limited to visa problem, immigration control, flight suspension, etc.

(1) GAO is a job-matching platform instead of a programme. There is NO GUARANTEE of an internship for each applicant. The ultimate decision of placement arrangement lies with the employer.

(2) No programme fee is required. Applicants are required to make all logistic arrangement (VISA APPLICATION, AIR TICKETS, ACCOMMODATION, etc.) and be responsible for paying all expenses on their own.

(3) The visa approval (or denial) is decided by the Government / Consulate of the internship country. Applicants are responsible for checking their eligibility to apply for the visa, and bear the risk of being denied.

(4) ONLY shortlisted applicants will be invited for interview by the employers. If you do not hear from the employers or Career Centre within 2 months after the application deadline, you may regard your application as unsuccessful. Students who are NOT shortlisted will NOT receive notifications.

(5) The internships are non-paid unless otherwise specified.

(6) Your HKBU student status must be valid on your first day of internship.
